 Welcome!
We are the Garrison Family, located on a mountaintop
in Tennessee, approximately 50 miles north of Chattanooga.
Although my oldest son Michael became a teen angel in
heaven in 2006, Jerry, Daniel and I will forever remain a family of four.
I'm the Mom, the primary horse-care-giver, but when
it comes to building, fencing, and heavy machinery, Jerry and son Daniel
take over. Seems like construction around here never ends!
I have over 35 years experience in
owning and showing horses. Horses are what I know, and what I do best.
They are my passion. Our lovely little herd of Miniature Horses are
cherished. I pride myself on their condition and health. Each horse is
loved on and fussed over daily; fed the best of grains, hay, vitamins and
they all get a good daily grooming. They are kept up to date on
vaccinations, farrier, de-worming, and dental work.
We breed beautiful athletes in
miniature, who possess a family oriented temperament who are all
double registered with AMHA and AMHR. They were selected for our breeding
program by their over-all conformation, winning bloodlines. I believe that
a beautiful horse is nice, but a beautiful horse with a good mind and
“using” conformation is better. When you visit the barn, you will notice
that all the horses have Christmas barn names. That's because around here,
we are Christmas fanatics.
