2007 Perlino Stallion

We purchased this promising young stallion to add size, color and pedigree to our program. His laid back temperament will be an asset as well. As a perlino his colts will be cremello, perlino, buckskin, or smokey black. His maternal grandsire, Cooke County Ect. was not only a cutting horse but stood 16.2 HH, so there is some size in his genetics as well as cow. His sire Durable Shine has won over $10,000 in the reining pen. His paternal grandsire, Shining Spark's record speaks for itself, once again adding reining and cow horse genetics to the mix. Shine will be a great addition to our working cow horse program. We are anxiously awaiting his foals in 2010.

Shining Spark - foals have earned more than 7.3 million and 32,881 AQHA points. He is a 3 Million NRHA sire as well as a 3 million dollar NRCHA sire. Leading NRCHA sire, 4th NRHA leading sire. AQHA #2 all time leading living sire of performance ROM. Sire of 60 World or Reserve World Champions.

Cooke County - offspring have earned over $69,000 with 20.5 halter points and 1 ROM, 385 performance points and 7 ROMs. 21 novice wins. 6 Grand 6 Reserve Grand Champions. 4 Reserve All Around Grand Championships. 1999 AQHA world junior cutting finalist. 2006 amateur world show select world show. Legacy has been our senior herd sire for the past 10 years. We were very happy to have the opportunity to purchase Legacy for Sharon Tiger of Norco, California, as he was picked to replace his sire in their breeding operation. Some unfortunate family health problems allowed us to bring him to Canada. All of Legacy’s offspring ride well and are very versatile. Glo is another of our home raised stallions that offers size, color and excellent conformation. Sired by Kenos Golden Legacy, our senior herd sire. His dam is one of our top producing mare; She is sired by APHA Champion Gold Contender x Mr. Norfleet. Glo’s first foals arrived in 2007 and we are very pleased with them. These colts are long legged, easy moving son of a guns. They will make great riders and we can not wait until they are old enough to start!

They say some of the best things come when you are not looking, we agree! Chrome comes to our program as a solid sire that will be able to fulfill our aspirations in both programs. Both Slumber Jac and The Jac Be Nimble are NRHA money earners. He is dual registered APHA and AQHA. His personality is that of a true gentleman. He was shown in reining as a three year old and has offspring that have won reining futurities. As well, a daughter that has won the 2005 UFA Ranch Horse Competition in Lloydminster piloted by Rod Thessen. Stands for $750.00

Far Out Dixon

2000 Black Overo Stallion

We are very fortunate to find this black overo son of one of our all time favorite foundation APHA stallions, Mardelle Dixon, who has a race ROM, points in Reining and Hunter Under Saddle. He is also a Lifetime Leading Sire of APHA Champions, Versatility Award Winners and All Around Champions. On his dam's side of the pedigree, Far Out And Foxy is an own daughter of  Far Ute El Ray, which is a bloodline we have used in our program with a lot of success. Far Ute El Rey had 22 Halter points and 12 Performance points. We are expecting great things out of his first foal crop at Flying S Ranch in 2010.
