Getting Started - your website with Equine Obsession

So, you've been through this site and you've decided that Equine Obsession is the best equine web designer ever - you've got great taste!

So now what?

Follow these steps:

1.) Consider your needs and wants. How many pages will you need and what will be on each page? ie. A home/welcome page, a stallion page, a mare page, a young horses page, a for sale page. Write down your categories so you'll have them recorded when we ask for them.

2.) Get yourself organized. Put together your photos, pedigrees, text/blurb about each animal, logo and anything else you want on the site. Organize them into piles/folders according to which animals go on each of your pages.

3.) e-mail or call us to see if we are willing and able to do your site, and what the timeline might be like. Web design is our #2 business, our #1 business is wedding and portrait photography. We fit web design work in around our photography schedule, and at certain times of the year, new clients are not accepted.

4.) If you're satisfied with the timelines offered, ask for a quote or verify that the package you have chosen is the price stated.

5.) Fill out this Website Information sheet and mail it to the address below along with your payment, made out to Jennifer Jacula. If any photos or pedigrees need to be sent by mail, please send them at this time.

6.) Once the payment is received, we will e-mail you to let you know, and you can send us all the photos, pedigrees, text and other information that you have already organized prior to contacting us.

7.) We will do a preliminary design and submit it to you for approval. If you like it, then sit back and watch as your website appears online over the next few days.

Arrange for your own hosting elsewhere

Equine Obsession has a preferred domain and hosting company that we work with exclusively. Buying your domain elsewhere will result in us having to transfer it to our host, and that process can take up to 60 days.
