About Us

Welcome to Mini Acres Miniatures located near Kitscoty, Alberta - right in the heart of Oil Country.  We are Karen Wruth and Ed Hauff and are very excited to be involved in such an amazing adventure where not only do we get to enjoy it as a business/hobby, but it enables us to travel to shows in Canada and the U.S.  

Our stallion “JEM Asgoodasitgets” or “Gets” as we call him, has proven to us that he is an awesome horse.  He has provided us with beautiful foals the last two years.  He earned three Canadian All Star Awards for the 2006 Show Season and is on his way to earning more Canadian All Star Awards in 2009; go to our Stallion page and check him out.  He is back out on the show circuit and is spending time in Manitoba with Mary Ann Bartkewich, owner of Bartkewich Miniatures where she is refining his style and has been showing him very successfully this summer.    We are excited to be on the road again for the 2009 show season where our Stallion “Gets” will be shown and trained by Mary Ann.  We look forward to him traveling to Nationals in September in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
