Tidewater Farm

Welcome to Tidewater Farm!

We are situated on the spectacular Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia where the highest tides of the world flow past twice daily, thus the namesake of our farm. We are also treated to breathtaking sunsets, the occasional rainbow and a fair share of summer days with thick-as-pea-soup fog resulting in lush pastures. In 2003 we began construction, which included clearing land for a 1500 foot driveway and fencing, within a year we were able to move in, including all of our animals. It was by no accident that the barn was built to be larger than the house!

Presently we are owned by two horses, two standard donkeys, one miniature horse, three dogs, five cats, one Dutch Dwarf rabbit and a small herd of Tennessee Fainting (or Myotonic) goats.

We feel very fortunate and proud to be able to own our fainting goats! We have a small quality breeding herd that originated from Sabbath Day Farm in Maine USA. We are one of a few farms east of Ontario in Canada that will be breeding and offering for sale registered fainting goats. We are members of the Myotonic Goat Registry (MGR). All of our goats are registered with the MGR and our older goats are registered Premium with the International Fainting Goat Association (IFGA). Please visit our fainting goat page for more information on these rare and special animals.

Please browse through our pages to meet our animals and other characters. Greg has his own page where collectibles and curiosities will be showcased and sometimes offered for sale.
